Professional elaboration according to specifications (definitions / specifications, costs and deadlines) of:

  • Layouts and foundation plans
  • Diagrams
  • Assembly drawings and parts lists
  • Production-suitable individual part drawings
  • Composite drawings
  • Requirement requests, including all documents specifying the scope of supply and services
  • Test plans
  • Documents for plant documentation (assembly folder / “As-built” / operating instructions)
  • Cooperation in project planning, offer and order processing calculations
  • active support during intermediate tests, assembly, commissioning and service/maintenance work
  • Collaboration in standardization work
  • Observance of and compliance with specifications with regard to standardization and norms
  • Compliance with QM regulations (instructions)

Your experience

  • Completed studies, further training as a technician or completed vocational training in mechanical engineering or comparable qualification
  • Ideally first or several years of professional experience in the design of complex components
  • Experience in mechanical and plant engineering
  • Safe handling of one or more 3D CAD systems
  • German language skills at least at level B2

  • Execution of inquiries and request for quotations
  • Selection and evaluation of suppliers
  • Conducting purchasing negotiations and determining the purchase price
  • Creation and formulation of orders and contracts
  • Purchasing of electrical components, electrical catalogue parts, small parts, services etc. based on purchase requisitions by the departments (quantity, price, delivery date, quality/function, guarantees, terms of delivery, framework agreements may exist – negotiated by Central Purchasing)
  • Carrying out all administrative activities required in connection with the processing of purchasing transactions (deadline monitoring, setting deadlines for intermediate inspections, checking the order confirmation, invoice verification as well as invoice release, customs and insurance issues, clarification of notices of defects, shipping measures, recording of incoming goods, provision of materials, etc.)
  • order-related parts to be provided
  • Compliance with the QM regulation (instructions)

Your experience

Order-related tasks for fully or partially transferred projects or orders by the product area manager.

Your field of activity and your responsibility:

  • Coordination and execution of meetings for project planning, determination of delivery and scope of services as well as cost determination (offer calculation) in the offer phase for a transferred project
  • Price, production costs and thus contribution margin for a transferred project
  • Conducting sales negotiations and concluding sales with the customer after consultation with the team leader
  • Ensuring the identity of the scope of supply and services in the offer and order before issuing the order confirmation
  • Order processing handover to the project processor (with the participation of the team leader)
  • Customer contact management
  • Compliance with QM regulations (instructions)
  • Determination/modification of the process technology to be used for individual offers or orders after consultation with the team leader

Your experience

  • Completed studies in industrial engineering and management, state-certified mechanical engineering technician with experience in the commercial sector or state-certified business economist with experience in the technical sector.
  • Ideally first or several years of professional experience in technical sales
  • Experience in mechanical and plant engineering
  • Confident use of one or more 3D CAD systems ideally with Solid Works or Solid Edge
  • Experience with the use of ERP software such as SAP or SAGE
  • German and English language skills at level B2
